Making a Chandelier Cord Cover

This is a very simple project that has a big impact!

You will need 1/2 yard of fabric, 2 1/2 yards of velcro, and a sewing machine.

I cut two 7" wide strips the 52" length of the fabric. I then cut two strips of velcro to match.

You then sew both sides of the velcro on one side of the fabric.

You then need to sew the other piece of the velcro set to opposite edge of the fabric, on the opposite side.

You do this so that the fabric will close in a circle when it is finished.

This shows you the configuration of the velcro on the fabric.

I created this in two pieces, so I could put it on for the two sections on either side of the hook.

The velcro makes it very simple to put on, and more importantly, to take off to be washed!

So, what do you think? I'm excited to show you the final room reveal. Still several steps to go, but progress is being made!!
