Design Projects - invitations and announcements

These are a few projects I did in 2011.

This is Madison's Sweet 16 party invitation:

These were printed and put together by hand, including the cutting, folding, and gluing. We created 100 invitations.

I added a pocket to include this ticket. Because the event was for teenagers, we thought that they might keep the ticket, and remember the date, more than the large invite itself.
Madison is a ballroom dancer, and the party was held at a private Swing Club, so I included dancing images on the ticket, but went with the more traditional invitation - thus pleasing both parents and birthday girl!

This was a Senior High School party invitation.

Business cards.

Senior Ad for the back of the yearbook.

  1. Austins Senior ad is exactly what I have been searching for to do for my daughters yearbook ad. How can I do a page for her like that? I have a deadline and I want to do it myself. But I don't have a clue what program to use or what to do. The staff said I can give them a CD or flash drive of a page I make for a 9" by 12" page. Can you help me with any tips on how to do it? The page is perfect. Thank you so much. Stephanie

    1. Stephanie, I designed it from scratch - but you may be able to get the elements online at Etsy. It is really just a large photo with two film roll elements on either side of the page that I inserted photos into each frame. I then used the same photo frame for the two larger inset photos. I used Photoshop for it. I hope that helps!

    2. Thank you, Tera. I don't have photo shop. I would only need it for the page so I'm out of luck but now I know how you did it. My daughter is really into TV Production and Film at school. It would have been a wonderful page. Thank you so much for taking time to respond, Stephanie

I adore lovely comments! Thank you for taking time to write to me! You ROCK! I'm sorry for the word verification, but I get way too many spam comments without it!
